Gilles Joye

Gilles Joye (Tournai, possibly Kortrijk, 1424/1425 – Bruges, 31 December 1483) was a Flemish polyphonist, composer, singer, poet, and cleric of the Renaissance. He belonged to the Burgundian School and was best known for his secular songs in a lyrical and elegant style.
