Fin'Amor

The Fin’Amor polyphonic ensemble, founded in 1995, is a choir from the Allier region that originated from the AVMCM association. Focusing on polyphony from the Renaissance and Baroque periods, the ensemble has expanded its repertoire to include classical pieces and even gospel music. Fin’Amor began performing in the Bourbonnais-Bocage and quickly expanded its influence to other regions and even abroad, participating in events such as the Florégiales de Levroux and giving concerts in Tuscany, Bohemia and Amsterdam.

In addition to performances, Fin’Amor has collaborated with other choirs and orchestras, such as the Chanteurs de Saint Nicolas de Moulins and the Moulins Music School, to perform major works, including Gounod’s Messe de Sainte Cécile and Puccini’s Messa di Gloria. The ensemble also has close ties with local choirs, such as Intermezzo de Moulins and Canta Limanha de Gerzat.

Under the direction of various conductors, including Luc Belloni, Sylvie Michard, John Pugh, Anne Besson and Agnès Adoult, Fin’Amor has continued to grow and evolve. Each of these conductors has contributed to the unique sound and identity of the choir. Despite challenges, such as the recent health crisis, Fin’Amor has always managed to maintain and convey its passion for music to the public.
